Dan Garcia is a distinguished classical guitarist based in New York, bringing the rich musical traditions of his native Madrid, Spain to audiences across North America. With a Master's degree in Music from the prestigious College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, Dan has established himself as a versatile performer and dedicated educator specializing in the music of Spain and Latin America.

As a performer, Dan has graced stages throughout the United States, Spain, and Canada, captivating audiences with his technical mastery and passionate interpretations. He maintains an active concert schedule across the United States while leading Lotus "Spirit of Santana," a celebrated Santana tribute band. Since the 1990s, Dan has been an integral part of New York City's vibrant world music scene, contributing to its diverse cultural tapestry.

An innovator in music education, Dan serves on the faculty at Manhattan University, where he teaches both music production and guitar. He operates a classical guitar studio in the Hudson Valley, New York, offering private instruction to students of all levels. His commitment to accessible music education led him to create the Learn Flamenco Guitar App and Learn Guitar App, along with authoring several comprehensive guitar methods that have helped countless students develop their skills.

Dan's creative vision extends beyond traditional classical performance. He is the co-creator of CaneliBeat, an innovative flamenco/electronic project that seamlessly fuses the authentic sounds of Spain with the contemporary energy of New York City, exemplifying his ability to honor tradition while embracing musical evolution.

Through performance, education, and innovation, Dan Garcia continues to share his passion for Spanish and Latin American guitar music with new generations of listeners and musicians.
